Tree Amongst Trees LbNA #51129 (ARCHIVED)

Enter Glen Park Canyon by the tennis courts, near the corner of Elk and Chenery.

Follow the paved path passed the playground on your right. Continue walking around the Rec Center, taking the path to your left.

You are now behind the Rec Center, lawn to your right and the canyon wall to your left.

Keep following this path toward the left until you come to a tree stump with a container for dog poop bags strapped to it (the Rec Center will be directly behind you).

Standing at this stump, you will be looking towards the path leading into the canyon. In front of you, you will you see a large mass/pile of greenery with vines and bushes.

From the tree stump, take 35 kid paces (not steps!) towards and then to the right of this mass/pile of trunks, bushes and vines. Stop.

Look left (up the little hill) and you will see that the greenery is covering two tree trunks. Walk up the hill about 4 kid paces (there is no path) towards the 2nd or further trunk. There is a large crack in it. Inside the crack, there should be some bark. Pull out the bark to reveal a black cosmetics case. Inside it should be the letterbox. When you are done, please replace the letterbox in the case and the bark into the crack. If the letterbox is lost or missing something from it, please e-mail ms.shweb@gmail.com
