Drive-by. This is right on the roadside, so watch the kids closely.

This microbox is along the very scenic Potash Road, just north and west of Moab, Utah. It was placed on a trip to Moab for the Box On The Rocks Gathering. Thanks to Kat - I used her clues for help with the direction and info. This is a very busy area - lots of people rock climbing and lots of people watching. Be sure to check out the other box in this area.

Directions: From downtown Moab, go north on Hwy. 191. Go over the bridge at the Colorado River and drive for about 1 mile, looking for signs and a left turn onto the Potash Road (Utah Scenic Byway 279) and travel this road for about 5 or 6 miles (past wall street, a big rock climbing area). Look for a sign on the left pointing out the "Indian Writing", and pull out to park.

Clues: On the rock face across the street from the sign is a petroglyph panel that is about 125 feet long. To the left of the petroglyph panel is a long crevice in the wall from top to bottom. Carefully cross the road and go to this crevice. Look down to the right, for a rock next to the bushes, and reach under the branches for this rock climber. Please make sure he is well hidden as you leave.
