OK, ready for a trip to the future? Let’s start by jumping in a passing aerocar. Wow, this one is already pretty crowded, but it will have to do. The car swoops to the end of the road, but since we’re flying, we don’t need to worry. George is driving and he decides to follow the southwest trail. You make some small talk with the other occupants and discover that they live at the Sky Pad Apartments. At the “T” the car veers off on a bearing of 155 degrees and quickly reaches the speed limit of 500 mph. We’re really cruisin’ now!

As we head uphill and follow the curve to the right, George asks you if you know much about Cogswell Cogs, since he is considering taking a new job there. At the “Y”, he chooses the trail at 110 degrees while you admit you’re not too knowledgeable about that manufacturer. At the 4-way the traffic is thicker than a cloud of meteors. George decides that the best bet would be to take the trail at 180 degrees.

Jane then mentions that they are planning a vacation trip to Venus next month. The car banks to the left and then darts into a small side trail to the south at the crest of a hill. Judy’s song - "Eep, Opp, Ork, Ah-ah!" starts playing over the sound system as we follow this smaller trail into the woods. After barely missing a tree, Jane gives shriek, but Astro says "Rats Rall Right Reorge!" At this point we speed off along a different trail at 110 degrees. Where are we headed? Jane is hoping it might be her favorite store, Mooning Dales. Judy is pleading to go to the Jet Screamer concert. However George says their destination will be a surprise.

When reaching a “Y” and a toppled tower, Elroy is intrigued with the fungus he sees out the window. It might be something he could bring to show his class at the Little Dipper School. We make a quick stop, and then continue on at a bearing of 170 degrees. A slow banked curve to the right and then Astro exclaims "Ruh-roh!" as we see another toppled tower on the right. We barely miss a V-tree on the left, swoop past two V-trees on the right, and then experience a sudden stomach lurching drop as we begin to descend because Rosie notices something that needs cleaning up - a fallen tree on the left. She disembarks, and rolls over to the fork of the fallen tree. She searches a spot about 8’ from the fork to find something nestled beneath the nearest branch. After closely examining this object, the family carefully replaces it and flies off to their fun-filled destination without you.

You can head back to YOUR spot by returning to the trail and continuing in the same direction. Not as much fun walking as it was flying about in that aerocar, is it? When you reach another “Y”, take a left, then another left when you reach the main trail. Next take a left at a 4-way, right at a “T”, then make your way back to the parking lot.

We’d really appreciate a report on your trip to the future, to let us know how things are going.
