MYSTERY SPOT
EAGLES NEST
This northern region of Wisconsin is a beautiful area known for its lakes and walking trails. One particular trail is 18 miles long and was once used as a railroad. This trail was named after a creek, but there is also a lake that shares the same name.
You can also cozy up to a fireplace and usually find inspiration for this name.
The clues for this letterbox begin at the start of this trail heading south.
Walk on water 156 paces, its not a short walk so tie your shoe laces!
Follow the path and you’ll be heading southwest, stop at a bench if you need a short rest.
Once you have found the residence of a doctor departed, continue on if you want to get this party started.
Continue past where two lakes meet, across the bridge 98 feet.
You will see faces on trees and stumps in the water. It won’t be here-but you are getting hotter!
Now the fence will have ended, and that’s such a shame…..just 44 paces to the end of our game.
Look left. Look right. Make sure no-one’s in sight, 15 paces east- a stump holds this box tight!
