State - New Hampshire
County- Rockingham
Town - Hampstead
Number of Boxes 1
Clues: The West Hampstead Cemetery dates back to the first settlers in town (1749). It is on a hill bordering the Sandown town line. Originally you could see for miles but now trees obstruct the distant view. The cemetery was enlarged in 1959 , when the town purchased adjacent property that is being used today.
Make your way to the center of Hampstead. Drive north on route 121. Go straight through the intersection of Depot Rd. and the Derry Rd. After the Sandown town line marker take the first right onto Chase Rd. Look for the West Cemetery sign. Take the right onto the dirt road. Park at the well. Enter the cemetery through the first opening. Continue through the opening with the tall granite posts on your left.
Stop to enjoy the peaceful beauty around you.
Look for an oak tree with 4 trunks. There you'll find your treasure.
Before you set out, please read the (waiver of responsibility and disclaimer).
Please be sure to reseal baggies and boxes carefully so that they stay dry and rehide boxes in their original location, completely hidden from view.
