These boxes were placed by a group of school children (ages 4 - 8). The two letterboxes are located in the meadow within River Rim subdivision. Each box contains a stamp that works with the other stamp to create one complete image (each stamp can also work independently).
Within the meadow is an artificial stream and pond. To find the boxes, you must first locate the 'natural bridge' that crosses the stream. Stand on the streambank on the south side, next to the bridge. From there, count 37-38 paces west along the streambank (right along the margin between the stone and grass). The second box is located beneath a large boulder near the water's edge.
To locate the first box, standing on the large boulder where you found the second box, look directly north across the pond. You should see another large boulder on the opposite side of the pond (a little farther back from the water's edge). The first box is located on the water side beneath the boulder.
Please be certain to replace the smaller rocks that conceal the boxes.
When you sign the logbook, please note your city and state of origin. We hope to use this to create a graph later to integrate math & science.
