Previously know as Winnipesaukee River and Northfield Trail. Have been combined into one clue and in order of walking.

From traffic lights on Main St in Tilton go across the bridge and take the first right hand road past the cabooses. Park and go thru the gate which is the beginning of the Winnipesaukee River Trail.

Box 1: walk across the field and stop at the 3 foot high pipe. Look to your right and you will see a 4 foot high fence. Walk to it and walk left to the corner. You will see a rock to your left and the box is there under the leaves.

Box 2: Go back to the trail and thru the gate and about 1/4 mile you'll see a 6 foot high chain link fence in back of the athletic field on your left. When you come to the end of the fence you will see a path. Walk across the tracks to the corner of the fence. Walk 7 steps, stop and look to your right. You will see 6 old gray birch trees growing in a circle the box is in the middle at the base. When you go back to the trail you will continue on across the road to the recycling area.

Box 3: Continue on and you will come to a small bridge. Go across and the box is at the end on the left side in the corner where another fence begins.

Box 4: Continue on and you will come to a big field and then you'll see a pond with alot of stumps in it. In the spring bring your binoculars with you and see as many as 12 painted turtles sunning themselves on the logs. After the pond there is a path on your left that goes to a field. Go to the big maple tree on your right and the box befind the tree with a cap from a jar at eye level.

Box 5: Continue on to another small pond on your left and walk past the pond and on your left you will see a gate. Go to the gate and there is a large rock there. The box is behind the rock.

Box 6: continue on and cross the paved road. Walk along the trail for 5 minutes and you will come to a path on your right. Take 12 steps from the trail on your right and you will see a 32" diameter oak tree. The box is at the base of the tree. About one more mile to Franklin and the end of the trail.
