Put on your walking shoes...and enjoy the City!

Our little family of four
is always in a hurry to get out the door.

We brought the kids
who had fun with what we did.

We love to start the party
with Max and Erma's son Marty.

Marty may not be their son
but the restaurant is a lot of fun.

We walked out to the main drag
Carrying our letter boxing bag.

Traveling West down Old Woodward Road
We were descended to see a toad.

Since we were surrounded by restaurants and a store
we had to take a long walk to find more.

We traveled across a busy intersection
which was a great place for affection.

A hand or two I did hold
but that was good because I was told...

Keep heading West
that will be best!

Down the hill we do go
Even though it was slow.

We even traveled across the street
for a quick Kilwin's treat.

Down the hill
lots of people like to mill.

What is not to love about a summer stroll
especially when there is no troll.

Across a small bridge
Revealed a great Park over the ridge.

It was so exciting
they took off like lightening.

As we entered the gravel walk
the kids did not balk.

On to the trail we traversed
with no need to reverse.

With a stream to the left and hills to the right
it sure was a perfect night.

Trail became wooded and it was a bit muggy
so since we don't enjoy buggy,

We hid our letterbox
with a little bit of mox.

Check to the left just a few feet in
On your left you will see where we have been.

There is a great tree stump
so don't stand like a lump...

There is some bark on the top
so with a quick hop,

Look under the bark
enjoy the lark!

***Booth Park is great end reward!! You may want to take cardboard to sled on their turf hill!***
