From the Dingmans Ferry Bridge, follow Route 739 North up the hill. Make a left on Silver Lake Road. Take Silver Lake Road 1.7 miles and turn left onto Park Road (Child's Park Road). Continue on Park Road .1 miles and turn left into Childs Park. Note: Childs park has two entrances, one on Silver Lake road and one on Park road. Park in the parking lot off of Park road. Facing the bathrooms, there is a trail to your right that is surrounded by "Waterfall" and "No Swimming" signs. Follow this path down to the river and walk along the river. You should see picnic tables on the other side of the river. Continue walking along the river until you come to a bridge on your left. At the bridge bear right on the trail and walk away from the bridge. Do not cross the bridge. Walk so your back is to the river and follow the path until it comes to a fork. Bear right at the fork, and head towards an old stone building. 100 feet after the building, you will see two large rocks, approximately 20 feet apart, on your left. Look between the two rocks and you should see a large uprooted tree 75 feet off the trail. At the base of the tree there is a pile of rocks. The letterbox is hidden under the rocks. Please cover it with the rocks when you're done.
