*You will need to bring your own ink.
**There is only one logbook for this series.

NOTE: This series is followed by Sahalie’s “Wings On the Mohawk – Part II and III. Please be sure to print out her clues as well.

Directions: Take Route 7 to Rosendale Road. Shortly after you pass River Road on the left, look for Lock 7 Road and make a left. Pass the small parking area on the right, and pass where the bike path crosses. Park in the large main parking lot in front of Lock 7.

Clues: Walk to where you pulled into the parking lot to a sign that reads “Please! Do Not Litter”. Walk left of the sign, along the paved path until you come to a lot for boat launching. Take the paved path to the left, behind two green metal posts with a cable strung between them. When you reach the “Dedication Rock”, turn right and continue down the bike path. Immediately after you pass a bird watcher's shelter on the left is a trail. Walk up the hill to begin the series.

Box #1: “Sassy Queen (this box was confirmed 11/27/20)

After walking through a split log on both sides of the trail, you’ll come to an intersection where the path seems to form a triangle. Turn right and continue on the blue trail. Stop on the trail when a large double trunk tree is on your right and the Ying Yang bridge is in the distance to your left. From that point you will see a massive double trunk tree to your right alongside a slope. The box is hidden on the backside where a small maple is growing. This box contains only a stamp.

Box #2: “A Little Birdie Told Me So”

Return to the trail and make a left in order to cross the Ying Yang bridge. Turn left, cross the single plank board and continue right on the trail for a very short time until you see a few large fallen mossy logs on your left. Scramble up the steep hill to enjoy the flat top where you will seek a fairly large rock nestled between two double trunk trees (one maple, one elm). The box is hidden behind the large rock. This box contains the stamp and the original logbook plus a new one.

Retrace your steps, crossing back over the Ying Yang bridge and keeping on the blue trail to the right. Continue the series using Sahalie’s clues.
