This box is located at one of the hiking trails on Silver Star Mountain. This road can be hiked, but the box is about 6-8 miles from paved road (dirt and rock roads take you within 200 feet of the letterbox). If you decide to seek this box out, be sure to bring a map for safety - the roads out here have little traffic and it is very mountainous terrain.
Take Skamania Mines Road and turn left at the first fork, leading to to 1200 road. Continue on the main path for 5-6 miles until you reach the peak of the road at Silver Star. This area has a small parking lot and many trails leading to the summit of Silver Star Mountain. Take the trail that leads uphill (opposite of the bike trails) to find our letterbox!

Continue uphill till a stump is in sight,
Inside the stump, a treasure you will see,
Be thorough, because it is under debris."
