While camping here this summer, we enjoyed a beautiful week directly on the shores of Lake Huron. The beautiful sunrises we enjoyed daily, inspired our first hand carved stamp AND first letterbox. We hope you’ll enjoy this fun and easy walk.

From inside Harrisville State Park:
Enter the paved foot path to Harrisville located at the beginning of the campground. Keep going pass a wooden fence on your right until you come to a grouping of 5 pine trees also on your right directly off the path. Walk towards the trees and turn back in the direction you just came. Walk 14 steps under the base of the tree cover and stop. Turn left and walk 4 steps. You’ll notice between the tall tree stump to your right and a slanted tree with exposed roots to your left, is a pile of rocks. What you’ve come for us hidden there!

From outside Harrisville State Park or downtown Harrisville:
Turn towards Lake Huron at the main light in downtown Harrisville off US23. Turn right onto the first road you’ll cross. This road will dead end at a foot path entrance to the State Park. Enter the paved foot path that begins at the fence and continue until you find a grouping of 5 pine trees to your left directly off the path. Walk towards the trees and turn in to your right. Walk 14 steps under the base of the tree cover and stop. Turn left and walk 4 steps. You’ll notice between the tall tree stump to your right and a slanted tree with exposed roots to your left, is a pile of rocks. What you’ve come for us hidden there!

This is a well traveled path so please be sure to watch for foot traffic on both the paved path and the gravel one you’ll see through the woods.

This letterbox was created and planted in unison with HPY CMPRS.
