Checked on 7/8/2011 and is still there - it's pretty overgrow with plants at the moment and it's hard to see the fallen tree. The pair of trees should get you there and the fallen log will be discovered as you venture into the ivy (not poison ivy!).

Midland is home to the Great Lakes Loons and Louie Loon. To find this box, you need to start at the home of the Loons (http://greatlakes.loons.milb.com). Park and find the river walk to start your journey. The river walk begins at the corner of State and Main streets.
Follow the river walk toward downtown Midland. Where the trail splits to join Main Street, stay on the river walk.
Go by the Danger sign and pass under the bridge.
Past two walkway lights you will find a pair of giant trees on the river side of the walk with a fallen log. Under the log is your treasure! The log is a fallen tree that has been cut on the end closest to the walkway.
Don’t pass the glass or you’ve gone too far! Be sure to look up and enjoy the view of the Tridge from the stamp location.
This is the first box we’ve placed – let us know if you have any questions or clarifications! Enjoy a Loons game while you are downtown and be sure to check out Pizza Sam’s and Daddy O’s Diner for some delicious food after the game!
