Find the intersection of an avenue named after our first president and South “Go west, young man” Avenue. Close to that intersection is a modern-looking building with a mostly glass façade, with an abstract sculpture out front that looks like a lot of red planks nailed together.

The letterbox is inside this public building. Write down the date on the cornerstone before you go inside. The hours of this public building are Mon-Thurs, 9am-8pm, Fri 9-6, Sat 9-5 and Sun 1-5 during the school year (During the summer, it is closed on Sundays.) Hours are subject to change.

Go past the information desk into the adult nonfiction section. Please do not ask the staff for help--they don’t know where the box is. (You may ask them where adult nonfiction is). You'll need to use the cornerstone date to figure out the location: rearrange the numbers from the date in this order: the second largest digit, the largest digit, the third largest digit, a period or “point”, and the smallest digit. This is the letterbox’s location. It will say "REF" before the number on the spine, but this doesn't affect the location.

Please be discreet while stamping up and be sure to replace the box EXACTLY where you found it.

While you're here, "check out" our "Wilbur & His Web" box.
