Our family of three likes exploring all sorts of places close to home. This Winant Park just opened this summer and we're very excited about it! To find the parking area, go on Fisk Road in Concord, NH (it's between Pleasant St. and Little Pond Rd.). There will be a beautiful parking area near Pleasant St. entrance. Check out the careful landscaping and tributes. You can bring your dog(s) on a leash. We recommend bug repellent. Also, bring your own ink pad please.

All boxes are there as of 8-2-11 and a new logbook was added.

Start on the trail and keep walking until you get to the end of a rock wall on your left. What unusual object made of metal do you see sticking up out near the stone wall?

Continue down the trail until you see another one of these metal objects on the left. Walk to the object. Face the trail with your back to the object. On your right is a two sister oak tree. Hidden at the base of the tree under some rocks and sticks is treasure #1. Re-hide well!!!

Continue on the trail. Go over a bridge and through the clearing. Cross a rock wall and shortly on your right is a big three sister tree(you can see this from the rock wall). Go to the tree and look for a boulder that looks like a boot. Behind this boulder is treasure #2.

Continue on the trail. You will eventually come to a big trail intersection. Look straight across for the bench. Go sit on the bench. On your right, there is a fallen log. Follow it to a boulder. Hidden under sticks and rocks is treasure #3. Feel free to use the bench to stamp into the log book. Now you have our whole family!

Go back the way you came or if you want a longer hike, feel free to continue up the trail past the bench for lovely views. It took us almost 40 minutes to explore and find hiding spots and it took us 13 minutes to get back to our car from the bench. Let me know if anything needs to be replaced or mended. Hope you enjoy the adventure!
