#1 Stamp Party

Take Mountain Road south near Gulf gas station on Route 114 just south of the center of Goffstown. Follow Mountain Road for 0.9 miles. Turn left to stay on Mountain Road and go another 0.4 miles to a small parking area on the left side of the road.

Across the road from the parking lot is the trailhead. Follow white blazes up the trail. After a pretty short distance (1/4 mile) you will come to a small, rocky cave on the left side of the trail. You can go into and through the cave if you want, but be careful of slippery rocks.

Just past the cave on the left side of the trail, look for several flat rocks with small trees growing above them. One of these hides your treasure.

#2 Make a Wish

Continue up the trail following the white blazes. There are some steep parts. In one place the trail splits but you can follow either path because they come back together again in a short distance.

After a long section of trail, you'll come to a section that is mostly climbing over rocks. Here you will get to a lookout to the NorthEast where you can see Goffstown, Glen Lake, and distant mountains. There is a pile of rocks and cement on the trail here. You can climb on them to get a better view.

Just up the trail from here there is a evergreen tree on your left with lots of low branches covered with lichen. Go off to the left of the trail here for 20 paces to a small clearing. Check all the hiding places for a treat.

#3 Gift Wrapped

Return to the trail and continue a short distance to the summit. There you will see a fire pit. To your left will be a view of South Uncanoonuc with a lot of cell phone towers and you can see Manchester beyond it.

While you are looking at this view you'll see an old, gnarled tree. Walk over to it, then turn to your right and look for a pair of oak trees that share a trunk. There is an evergreen behind them. Walk to these oaks and while facing them, turn left to follow a small path down the slope a short distance (35-40 paces) until you come to a rocky patch. Turn to the right to walk to the largest oak tree (15 paces). Go past the oak and look for 4 big, flat rocks. One of these hides your treasure.
