This letterbox celebrates recycling, so bring any clothes, shoes, or books you want to donate to charity for re-use. I wanted to place this near the Materials Recycling Facility in RI which collects from 1 million people in the state, however I couldn't quite make it there, so opted for this peripheral version. Still, I noticed lots of recycling bins on the streets of nearby Woonsocket. Rhode Island is serious about recycling and is a great example for other states.

Find the corner of Great Road and St. Paul in N. Smithfield. Your contributions will come in handy for keeping muggles from suspecting anything as you approach the letterbox. There is a paved lot on the corner, across from the General convenience store. Two donation boxes are in the far corner (and hopefully will stay for a good long while) - Kiducation and Books for Charity. Behind Kiducation is a cluster tree, in the center of which is the letterbox under some sticks. Re-hide with any extra debris as needed. There is some poison ivy around but none near the tree when the box was placed. This is an easily viewable area so be discreet.

350 parts per million CO2 represents the safety line for minimizing the effects of climate change. In 2009 we are at 387ppm - it has risen steadily 2ppm per year for several decades. Anything you can do to help reduce your carbon footprint (recycling, bike commuting, not idling your car, driving less, etc.) is a valid contribution towards reducing global warming. Visit www.350.org to find out more and participate in the International Day of Climate Action on October 24, 2009 to help raise awareness and send a powerful message to global leaders to unite on climate change action.

Thanks! And Enjoy!
