***BOX NOT REPLACED***

Texas Welcome--#2 in the State Welcome Series
PULLED FOR REPAIR--7/06
Placed: 7/20/2003 (alive and well 1/27/2005)

Difficulty: Easy

Directions: On IH-10 Westbound the Texas Welcome Center is exit #880.
There is a very nice boardwalk out into the marsh. You could see some snakes, alligators and other marsh creatures. The center building and boardwalk is open til 5pm. Here you will find travel info from all over the state of Texas.

Clues:
Enter the rest area and park past the Welcome Center building. By the sidewalk you will see the mailbox. Walk approximately 20 paces toward the woods, just to the left is a tree/bush with many trunks. About waist high in the middle of these trunks you will find the Texas Welcome LB.
This rest area was VERY busy when I planted this box but no one seemed to pay attention to me, including the employees. People go into the woods to look for alligators in the marsh. I didn't see any.
