Early one morning the Monkey Mama's got a letter from the cool chicks. The letter said if you want to see where the cool chicks go follow these clues. Hmmm said Monkey Mama Erin I have always wondered where they go, shall we go and see where the clues will lead us? Why not said Monkey Mama Amy. So the Monkey Mama's grabbed their compass and their letterboxing back pack and off they went.
PJ Hoffmast Park is Located in Norton Shores. You can take 31 to the Pontaluna exit head West on this road until you see the Park entrance on the left hand side. It will cost you $6 for a day pass or $24 for a yearly pass to get into the park.
After arriving at PJ Hoffmaster park they stared their adventure.
Clue 1 - Start at the Walk a mile trail located at the parking lot for the beach.
Clue 2 - Cross under the fallen tree
Clue 3 - Be on the look out for the tree that fell across the path but lost a section so we could go on.
Clue 4 - Once again cross under the fallen tree
Clue 5 - Follow the 12 post along the left side of the path.
Clue 6 - Keep your eyes open we are getting close look for the fallen tree that leans across the left of the trail note the ridge but do not take it.
Clue 7 - Now you must watch closely look for the the tree with AAson on the big beach tree on the left ridge ( If you come to the paro of the path where the many roots cross you have gone to far). Take this ridge to the fallen log. What a giant he must have been. At the west end of the fallen giant you will find where all the cool chicks go.
You can keep taking this trail to the beach (which we highly recommend, just follow the beach to the beach entrance to find the parking lot) or you can turn around and take the trail back to your car.
