This is a nice walk through the woods in Conway, New Hampshire. Please note this is Conway, not North Conway.

Walking time is approximately 20 minutes each way. The walk is easy and smooth, and is suitable for young children.

Please note – this is a multi-use trail. You will see trail markers along your way that we have not included as points of reference.

To reach the Woods Walk Letterbox, locate the Conway (NH) Police station on Route 302. Your starting point for your search is the canoe launch parking area on Meeting House Hill Road, behind the Conway Police station. Park in the parking area.

Take a look at the river from the overlook – there is a beautiful view. From the parking area, facing the river, there is a field on the right, which contains a picnic table. Take the path past the tables, over the bridge. You will soon pass a HUGE pine tree on the left. Continuing, you will walk under the highway overpass. After the overpass, keep left along the river.

You will pass a hand-lettered sign on a tree stating “Welcome to Nature’s Cove”. Bear left. Also keep left at a sign stating “Town of Conway ¾ Mile Rec Path”.

Soon, on the left, down the embankment in a clearing to the river, you will see a concrete monitoring station.
Align your back with the door to the station, facing away from the river. Looking back across the path you have been traveling on is a three-trunked maple tree.

The Woods Walk letterbox is in the crook where the three trunks meet.

Please be discreet when accessing the letterbox, as this is a frequently traveled area. Please rehide the letterbox well.

Also, please email me when you find the letterbox.
