Midway is not just a town in PA or a battle in WWII. It's the place that gets you and your friends together. This park happens to be midway for a set of college buddies.
To the Trailhead
Park in the lot by the swimming beach at C o w a n s G a p S t a t e P a r k.
To the Letterbox
Take the bridge to the far side of the spillway and follow the trail down stream to the end of the spillway. Follow the stream until it gets smooth and goes through S curves. You will see a large tree on the bank near two large moss covered rocks in the stream. From the tree go at 210 degrees until you come to the end of a fallen tree. Follow this log until you find the SPOR along it.
(Be sure to bring a pen as the letterbox doesn't have one)
