Directions: From RI rt 146 take route 123 Break neck hill exit. head east on rt. 123(Breakneck hill rd) for 1.0 mi. parking area will be on the left. at Great Road Historical District sign.

Clue: Enter path through split rail fence. Head towards large tree with white butterfly on right. As you ascend up the hill there will be a small flower garden on the right. You will come across a pond on your left at a "Y". Take a right at the "Y", follow the path to top of the hill and continue on to a wooded area. You will continue to Chase Farm Trail Entrance sign on the right. Proceed to "Y" and bear left keeping houses on your right. Soon you will come across a small body of water. The path will "Y" here around the pond. Straight ahead before the pond will be a leaning post. Behind the post under some grass will be what you seek. Take your time to view what the Town of Lincoln might have looked like over 100 years ago.

Difficulty: easy hiking. 1.5 miles or 45 min. at average pacing.

Historical: Rural area dotted with many historical landmarks dating back to late 1600's. Many open views from the elevated areas throughout this beautiful place.
