Garrett Chapel
5251 Skyline Drive
Bluff Point, NY 14478

The Garrett Chapel, also known as the “Little Chapel on the Mount” was built by Evelyn and Paul Garrett, in memory of their son Charles, who died of tuberculosis in 1929.

The Chapel is constructed in the 6th century Norman Gothic style and materials were imported from all over the world. Enjoy the peace and tranquility as you walk back in time and if you can, plan to be there when the chapel is open as to view the inside with the amazing stain glass windows.

The chapel grounds are steep with narrow paths and stairs required to access the grounds.

Hours: The Chapel is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1pm to 4pm from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Grounds of the Chapel are open from March to October from sunrise to sunset, but are occasionally closed for special events.

Services are held at 9am Sunday from July 4th to Labor Day

As you walk around the grounds you will notice a small building set apart from the chapel. As you look at this building with a door on either end, go to the door on the left. At about middle hinge height on the rock wall there is a gap where you will find our box.

The chapel has been a favorite walking spot for our family for over 30 years....enjoy!
