Clues for A Starry Night:
My family has rented a cabin at White Iron Beach Resort in Ely for many years. My husband and I are always amazed by the BEAUTIFUL lakes and the clear skies. If you watch closely you can see the satellites passing by!

Directions:
1. Head North up MN State HWY 169.

2. Do not worry about the “bears” you should see them
on your right, just south of Ely, MN.

3. Continue North through town until you pass
the “root beer lady” museum also located on your
right.

4. Continue North being careful of the “wolves” as
they have a tendency to howl at you!

5. Turn right onto Kawishiwi Trail / or HWY 16.

6. Approximately 2 miles down the road you will see
Pine road on your right. There is a large rock at
the turn.

7. This dirt road will curve to the right.

8. Park after the turn.

9. On the left side of the road you should see a green
reflective address sign #13532.

10. Go and stand with you back to the sign.

11. Directly across the road from you, there is a large
rock with moss and trees on it.

12. On the left side of the rock there is a pine tree
and a smaller rock with a patch of moss on it.

13. Behind this you find you starry night. Be careful
the slope is steep!

Please rehide well.

If you want to see the cabins where we stayed or the beautiful lake, go back onto Kawishiwi trail and turn at the next right for white iron beach resort. Tell Kerry and Sandy, the owners, we said Hi!
