This angel sits in St Matthews Church graveyard. Walk through the second entrance next to the church's right side, when facing the church. You will see a plaque on the right side of stone wall, that is dedicated to the Revolutionary soldiers that are buried here. On your right will be 2 white crosses that are dedicated to two sons that were killed in WWII. There bodies are buried elsewhere, but the crosses are a memorial to them. Behind them is a flat laying stone that has a beautiful carved angel in the stone. As you face the two crosses you will see a boxwood across the grassy path that has pachysandra growing around it. To the left of the boxwood is the beautiful angel. Please replace and make sure the pachysandra is covering the box. Busy place and lots of activity, so use stealth.
