Located at Grater Woods Trails
We love this lovely little loop trail behind the Merrimack Middle School. It was formed on an old logging trail and is easily navigated, even with kids. More info about the trail can be found at:

Clues to letterbox:
1. Enter the main entrance located in the second parking lot behind Merrimack Middle School (look for trail kiosk) and take the "Red Trail" main loop
2. At your first fork, take a right onto the loop trail. You will see a good sized beaver pond on your right.
3. Along the pond you will see a row of boulders than you can cross to get to the secondary path that runs along the edge of the pond. Go ahead and go down to that trail and pause to take in the beautiful view. You may even see a great blue heron!
4. Head back to the main loop trail and continue on in the same direction. You will quickly see a small bridge in the distance. Do not go on that trail - stay on the main loop.
5. Continue down the loop, and when you see a logging road ahead of you through the trees, STOP and look to your left. You should see a large boulder just to the left of the trail. Go behind this boulder and look in the crevice near the bottom. The letterbox is there! Congratulations!
