More Winnipesaukee River Trail Boxes LbNA #48768 (ARCHIVED)

From traffic lights on Main St in Tilton go across the bridge and take the first right road near the cabooses. Park and go thru the gate which is the beginning of the Winnipesaukee River Trail. About 1/4 mile you'll see a 6 foot high chain link fence across the old railroad track. When you come to the corner of the fence take the path following the fence across the tracks. 7 steps from the corner of the fence look right and see 6 old gray birch trees growing in a circle. The box is at the base in the middle. When you go back to the trail you will pass the road that goes to the recycling area. After about 1 mile more you will cross a road (Cross Mill Road) follow the trail for 5 minutes and you will see a path on the right. 12 steps from the trail on the right you will see an Oak tree about 8" around. The box is at the base of that tree.
