***** THIS BOX APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN REMOVED. WE'LL PUT TOGETHER A NEW ONE AND REPLACE SOON. SORRY!!!! ****
When Spring and Autumn winds blow, we head to Keach Park to fly kites in the big open fields. We wanted to place a letterbox in honor of a favorite family pasttime.
Directions to Keach Park:
Take I-93 to exit 14. Turn onto Loudon Road, heading East. Drive up a hill and through 5 sets of traffic lights. Then take a right onto Pembroke Road BEFORE Wendy's Restaurant. A left onto Newton Avenue will lead you right to the Keach Park parking lot.
Clues to the Letterbox:
With the pools behind you, you'll now be facing the fence surrounding the fields. The entrance is to the far left, near a lamp post, but before the tennis courts.
Once you're in the park, you'll immediately see a baseball field on the right. Behind 1st base will be 2 double shrubs/bushes. Starting at the double shrub/bush closest to the dugout/bench, count 11 bushes until your find your treasure.
If it's a breezy day, bring along your favorite kite and go fly it!
