This is box is our first and the primitive carving of the stamp shows it! It's located at our favorite family-friendly fishing hole.

Directions and Clues -

From I-93, take Exit 16. From the ramp take a right onto East Side Drive. Take the first right onto Eastman Street. Merrill Park will be on your left. Park here.

From the parking lot:

With the tennis courts and the flag pole to your back, you'll notice a small footpath near the street entrance to the parking lot. Take this pathway. You'll pass a green kiosk with a park map. Then you'll cross the Mill Brook Foot Bridge.

Once you're on the other side of the footbridge, you'll notice a large tree with a trashcan nearby. The pond is now on your right. Head towards the red maintenance garage and then turn right. Head towards the Merrill Park Trail and Heritage Trail trailhead markers.

You don't have to travel far on this trail before you'll see 2 sets of 3-sister birch trees on your left. The treasure will be hidden between these two sets of trees.

One you've found it - and if you're hungry -
On your way back, hang a right at the red garage and sneak through to Quality Cash Market for the best homemade donuts on the planet - or kabobs depending on the time of the day!
