I planted this box on my son's 11th birthday. He wanted to celebrate it with his grandparent's in Unity. We spend 4 days letterboxing around Sullivan County in New Hampshire and Winsor County in Vermont. This spot is special because it is where my son fills water jugs with his grandpa when we visit.
The moose is in honor to the baby moose we saw while snowmobiling in Newport last February. This is a drive-by box.
From 2nd New Hampshire Turnpike turn on to West Unity Road. About a 1/4 mile down on right you will see a pull off. There is a plank bridge leading to a natural spring. From the spring look right to a pine tree. behind the tree you will see a hollow log. Look in the tree and catch the moose!
