Located in the Gorge Scenic Area at about 2300' el. about 2.5 miles up the trail to indian point. There are many ways to approach Indian Point, but most people park at Herman Creek campground. If you park inside U need a NW Forest Pass or park outside for free and walk the extra .35 mile into the trail head.
If you find this letterbox your only about .36 miles to Indian Point, as the Crow flys.Indian Point is a great scenic and precipious view point.
In the summertime, the trail is dry. After the switchback, just south and about 40 feet from trail, beside a downed tree which is next to a standing 20 inch dia. tree. the letter box is in a green ammo can.
