BeepBeep Corner letterbox was placed in memory of our grandmother(the Queen Bee) who always beeped her horn when rounding this very narrow corner on her way to camp.
From Gray center take Rt. 26 towards Dry Mills. Take a left onto N. Raymond Rd(between the gas station and the Dry Mills store). Proceed on N. Raymond Rd. passing Crystal Lake swimming area and take a left onto Egypt Rd. Continue on Egypt Rd passing the big painted rock on your right.(You can also access Egypt Rd by taking Rt 302 to Raymond and turning onto Rt 85 and turning R onto Egypt Rd). Take a left onto Westwood Rd and you will be following a brook on the right. Approx 1/10 of a mile you will come to BeepBeep Corner. You may have to turn around and park or there is a small area around the corner on the right where you could stop. Find the Maine Wildlife Sanctuary sign (black and yellow) and proceed to cross the street there heading towards the brook. Slightly to your right you will see a dead tree which once had several trunks. In between you and the tree you will see a small pile of rocks. Under some old bark pieces you will find our box. Have fun and be careful parking as this can be a busy corner in the summer. This spot brings very fond memories to us so we hope you enjoy our hand carved stamp. Placed by Roseheart, Double Kitty, Happy Dragonfly, Chinese Dragon, Moonqueen and Spiderboy.
