Named for Italian horticulturist Francesco Franceschi, this 18-acre park offers some of the most wonderful views of the Santa Barbara city and coast. The interesting old Franceschi home is within the boundaries of the park and is scheduled for a face-lift. There is a small picnic site, restrooms, and parking. This is a great park for lunch or a romantic stroll through the winding paths. Mostly for enjoying the view of my hometown!
To find the letterbox...
1. At the end of the driveway/parking lot, there is a large Eucalyptus tree with a small succulent tree next to it.
2. Between the succulent tree and a rock at its base you will find the box covered with a few other rocks and a brick.
*There is a surprise in the box for the first finder!
