Granada is a beautiful colonial town in Nicaragua. With picture-perfect plazas and Spanish cathedrals, not to mention a fascinating but chaotic market, it is worth the stop if you are in Nicaragua.

The Granada letterbox is located at Kathy´s Waffle House, an American-style breakfast restaurant which is open for breakfast from 9-2PM. The restaurant is located across from Iglesia San Francisco. This church is the oldest standing church in Nicaragua. There is a worthwhile museum attached to the church.

To find the box, either walk, take a horse carriage, or a taxi to Iglesia San Francisco. Across from the church is Kathy´s Waffle House. Also across from the restaurant is a tourist information center. The letterbox is in a small drawer on the side of a long wooden table in the outside dining area. At the moment, there are two long, wooden tables outside. This one seats six, and is perpendicular to the restaurant wall. The drawer is facing the tourist information center. Inside the drawer is the box.

BTW, Kathy´s has great Belgian waffles!! Enjoy your trip and drop us a line if you find the box.
