Helping Hands Letterbox
The Helping Hands letterbox is one of several letterboxes in Mines Falls. Mines Falls is a beautiful, 237- acre park in the heart of Nashua, NH that includes a variety of walking, running and biking paths that are nestled among forest, ponds, wetlands, a canal and river.
Directions:
1. From the Everett Turnpike in Nashua, take exit 5, Route 111, West.
2. Proceed past the Nashua Police Station
3. At the set of lights, take a right onto Riverside Drive.
4. You will see a large parking lot near the Conway Ice Arena….park there.
5. Walk to the “Welcome to Mines Falls” Sign near the millpond.
6. Follow the path that starts to the left of the sign.
7. You will pass a red trail sign marked “R58”
8. Continue on this path until you approach the Gate House (brick building with 1886 sign on it).
9. Continue down the trail to the next “Mines Falls” sign.
10. Take a right when the trail splits and look for the green “G48” sign.
11. You will cross over a bridge with a waterfall to the right.
12. You will cross another footbridge near the “G59” sign.
13. Stop at the “G61” sign and look to the left for a fallen birch tree. Follow the fallen tree to the twin birches that form a V.
