1.) Park in the main parking area of the farm.
2.) Face the huge empty field and bare left.
3.) Stay along the edges of the trees.
4.) Looking straight ahead you should see markers counting from 1 and up.
5.) Follow them to until #4
6.) Once you reach #4 count 20 steps straight
7.) Then look to your right and an oak tree you should see.
8.) Look in the brush below and that’s where the box should be.

Robert Frost Farm was home to the famous poet and poultry farmer Robert Frost and his family from 1900 - 1911. Robert Frost was one of the nations most acclaimed poets, who’s writings are said to be the epitome of New England.
It has been more than 100 years since Derry, New Hampshire’s most famous resident had arrived by horse and wagon, to manage his two careers as a poultry farmer and of course a poet. For ten long years, Robert Frost worked his small farm and taught at Pinkerton Academy. All while gleaning from his poverty, hardship, and heartbreak, was the essence of this literary genius. It was here in this unassuming place that the poet/farmer interacted with his country neighbors and gained the feel of New England farm life. Here he found his poetic voice, wrote a good portion of his first 2-1/2 books of poetry, and found inspiration for his best-loved literary works. The Derry homestead was undisputedly the seed from which Frost's poetic inspiration and literary career grew.
When you enter the Robert Frost Farm property, there is a historic marker for visitors to get a taste of what this historic site is about, and it says, “Some of the best-loved poems in the English language are associated with this small farm owned by the poet from 1900-1911. Here Frost farmed, taught at nearby Pinkerton Academy and developed the poetic voice which later won him the Pulitzer Prize for poetry four times and world fame as one of our foremost poets.” The Robert Frost Farm has been and will continue to be one of the most historical and famous places in Derry, New Hampshire.
