How to find Letterbox:
Go to The Baxter Lake Campground & Recreational Area. As soon as you approach the Campground, there will be a gate. You might need to get out of the vehicle you're in and walk this path. Follow the dirt road in front of you. Keep following this trail untill you see a wide open dirt area. If you are facing this area, there will be a small path to the left of it. Take the small trail. Follow it untill the path splits in two. In front of you, you will see a split tree. Behind this tree will be a number of rocks. Underneath these rocks, you will find what you were looking for!
History: Baxter Lake Campground have been open for 32 years. My family has owned a lakehouse there for all of those years. Baxter Lake is a 295 acres water body located in Strafford County in east NH. It's in the town of Farmington and the city of Rochester. It is part of the Cocheco River watershed, a tributary of the Piscataqua River.
