The welder is going to work, but he wants to find something very important before he goes. Where did he leave it? Might it be at St. Stanislaus Kostka church, a registered Michigan Historic Site which was built in the second half of the nineteenth century for the large Polish community in Bay City?
Start at St. Stanislaus church in Bay City, 1503 Kosciuszko Ave. Go east to M15 (S. Tuscola Rd). Turn right on M15 and park in the designated area on the left for the Bay City Rail Trail. Carefully cross M15 and walk west on the trail. You will pass the “Meijer Mile” boulder on your right. Continue walking . Say hello to Beverly. After you pass Frank, stop, look and listen, then carefully cross Trumbull street.
Discover the Sage Library Pocket Park. Sit on the bench that faces NW and say hello to Marion and Janice. While sitting, look for the yard with two green lamp posts. Find what the welder is looking for and where he works at the base of the windmill between the lamp posts.
