5/5/11-I have been informed by another letterboxer that the "interesting bridge" no longer has plywood on it. I believe it is still crossable, or you could just wear waterproof footwear...

Slocum Road
Hebron
(stamp size 3 x 4)

From the intersection of routes 66 and 85, travel North on route 85 (towards the Big H fairgrounds). Take a left on to Slocum Road. Travel down this road until you get to where it makes a sharp left turn and becomes Blackman Road. There is a dirt pull-off on the right side of the road here where you should park.

Please bring black ink with you for this image.

After parking, start off on the trail that heads downhill from the parking area. For most of this downhill walk, you will be walking between stone walls on either side of the trail. Pass, a huge, gnarly old tree on the right, as well as the remnants of an old foundation of some sort.
You will come to a nice wide waterway that you will need to cross on an "interesting" bridge. (My three dogs all crossed with no trouble.)
After crossing the bridge, go straight/uphill at the intersection of a few trails.
It has been all downhill, until now. ;-)
When you finally get to where the trail in front of you levels out and a trail comes in at an angle from the right, stop here.
Look left and see a stonewall starting.
Walk with the stone wall on your left a little ways until you come to a three sister tree just in front of the wall.
Turn left and walk through the opening in the wall just to the left of the tree.
Turn right and look low in the wall for the truly terrific Tennessee letterbox by mstrwndl.

Please recover well.

Retrace your steps to get back to your vehicle.
