Difficulty: 2/5 stars. 1 1/2 hours of easy walking. Some hills.

Not far from where a short line railroad once ran near Sarah's Boarding house stands this 1937 honor to an significant event that took place about 60 years earlier, give or take one or two.

On the west side of where Middlesex abruptly ends is the trail that begins your trek in search of past events that shaped the world today.

Continue ahead and through an intersection and past a "T".

At the first "Y", go at 210 degrees.

At the next "Y", take the path at 260 degrees.

In the clearing, at the intersection of many paths, take the one to the south through the sawed tree and stay on the lower trail to the next "Y".

Continue forward and count the very next 3 big trees, closest to the trail on the right.

From the third tree, count 9 paces and from there, at 250 degrees, count 14 paces and there you'll find your first event.

Return to the trail you just counted from, go left and in reverse.

Continue through the sawed tree again and go left and over the creek.

From the towering "V" at the creek's edge on the left, count 33 paces to another smaller "V", to the next event.

Retrace your steps and return once more to the big intersection and take the path at 36 degrees.

Continue to the second 70 degrees fork.

From the center there, count 19 paces and then 5 to the left. Something awaits you there.

Continue on the Northeast trail and take the turn at 60 degrees, the one with the slight rise.

You know in that game of hot and cold? As you pass the sawed tree; it's a different one, I swear!, your left knee feels the burn.

You can easily leave from here. Continue ahead on this past and at the intersection, turn at 60 degrees.
