Each summer the grounds of Camp Muskingum is overrun with exuberant teenagers during 8 weeks of FFA Camp. FFA is an organization for students of Agricultural Education. FFA Camp is a chance for them to meet other students throughout the state of Ohio; learn about teamwork, leadership, problem solving, goal setting, and conservation; and have a great time roaming the hills of Eastern Ohio and Leesville Lake.

This letterbox is planted outside the entrance to the camp. It is accessible all year long. If the gates are open, you're welcome to drive down into the camp, but please remember that this is a private camp and respect the campers and staff by being polite and discreet.

Bring your own ink.
Level of terrain difficulty: easy
Time required after parking: 1 minute

Directions: *** A fellow letterboxer had difficulty following our directions and suggested the comments at the bottom ***

From Carrollton drive south on Highway 332. Turn right on Dyewood Road and follow the signs for FFA Camp Muskingum. Enjoy the scenery. It's beautiful. Drive slowly, the road ends in a lake. As you get closer to the camp. You'll notice a remote station on your right with a rock climbing wall and a zip line. After that, turn right into the turnoff for "Adventure Center" and park immediately, where the Adventure Center driveway meets the main road. At the side of the road/driveway, you'll see a utility pole with several numbers emblazoned on it at chest-level. The bottom number is 5-35. In the rocks at the base of the pole, you'll find the letterbox. Please re-hide it with care.

*** follow FFA signs, then turn right onto Dyewood. Dyewood does not directly intersect w/ 332.
