This stamp is carved from a photo sent me from the Jalataco district of Oaxaca, Mexico. My sister Chapuline lived many years in Jalataco but has recently moved (still in Oaxaca). The box was all put together before the move so it still got planted on Memorial Day.

Take I-89 to exit 17. Take route 4 east until you see High Street on the right. Go right onto high and then right again onto Main. Just after crossing the bridge there’s a sign on the left for rail trail parking.

This walk is all on the trail. Go between the boulders and go west (right), cross over the bridge over the Mascoma River, continue straight, cross over the bridge over a roadway, pass between a large rock cut called “Ledges Pass” and continue straight. Eventually you’ll see a an optic cable pole (on the right) numbered 453 and then a wooden post on the left with a rock ledge on the right. The front part of the ledge appears to have split away leaving a comfy hidey hole for the box. Lift a few flat rocks to reveal the treasure.
