Antrim City is now a ghost town. If you can, please read the book 'Whistle Up The Bay'. It is about Theo, Tommy, and Herman Guyer, (called Escher in the book) growing up not far from the Cemetery, in the late 1800's. Although Antrim City is gone, and hardly any of the old buildings remain on the Flat Road, it is still a nice place to visit.
Head North on US-31 from Eastport. Turn left on Old Dixie Hwy. after a bit turn right and stay on Old Dixie Hwy. (The Flat Road). After a few miles you will see the Antrim City Cemetery. Drive to the top and park.
Find the headstone of the five Price children. How devastating that must have been! Walk 6 headstones North of Price. Look East, and see the Guyer headstone. Tommy, Herman, and Theo were the actual characters of the book 'Whistle up the Bay'.
From the Main Guyer headstone walk 34 paces north, and very slightly west, to the headstone of Captain A. Brant, from there walk northwest to the headstone of Sarah Jane.
As you read the stone turn around, a small tree you will see. Look beneath its roots, to the treasure that you seek.
PLEASE REPLACE WELL! If its not well hidden it can be seen!
