Go to Woodbine Cemetery, Harrisonburg, Virginia (off Route 33 Downtown, across from Burger King)

Clues for Children:
1. You go in the entrance on Route 33- East Market St.
(Fact: The first person buried there was George Conrad.)

2. Go in the doors that say Woodbine Cemetery.

3. Count the 8-sided figure to your left. Try to guess what it is.

4. Take a left.

5. As you walk on the path, look for the pyramids with 4 sides. What letter do they both have in them that are the same?

6. Keep walking on the path until you get to an intersection. What shape does the intersection make?

7. Take a left.
See how long you can skip up the road.
To your left you can try to find a big angel missing an arm.

8. Keep going straight up.

9. To your right you will see a building (1914 REHERO)
Go up six steps. (Fact: Nelson J. Liskey wrote a book about the cemetery about famous people that are buried there.)
Look inside the building. Can you tell what’s on the glass window?

10. Go back down the steps and on the other side. Try to find the only stone with a picture on it.
(Fact: Every year since the war ladies have designated a day and with procession muffled drums and tolling bells for the dead soldiers)

11. After you’re done, go back to the road and keep walking straight up the road.
You will pass a road to the right- keep going straight until you get to the circle. (DON’T TURN)

12. Go around the circle.
How many trees are in that circle?
Don’t forget to take a brochure.

13. Return to the path and keep walking straight.

14. Count how many trees are to your left and to your right.
Also, you can try to find letters on the ground on each side.

15. To your left, you’re going to see a big tombstone that says “Armentrout” and has an angel on the top.

16. Go back to the path.

17. Multiply 3 times 10. Skip that amount of times down.

18. To your right you will see a big American flag; take a look at it.
(Fact:1876, Jan. 21 the sodiers monument in woodbine cemetery completed.)

19. Go back to the path.

20. Count how many steps there are from the path to the building, including going up the steps.
What do you see inside? (HINT: Don’t forget to look up!)

21. Facing the building take a 90-degree left turn.
Go down the steps. Go under the holly Tree.

22. Take a right, an average of 3 feet high in the corner you will see a drain pipe.
Put your hand in between the pipe and the building.
There will be the treasure!
