Head southwest on I-81 south. take exit 264 for us-11 toward Luray/New Market/Timberville. Turn left at W. Old Cross Rd. Turn right at S. Congress Street/US-11. You can park on the street near a red house with green shutters.

Child’s Clues

1) Start at the red building with green shutters across from the Greater Atlantic Bank. It should have the number meaning that it is a historic building.

2) Turn facing the building and look in the first window to the right of the door.

FACT: The building and brick that you are looking at and standing on were built before the Revolution.

3) Turn to your right and skip down the sidewalk until you get to Millie’s Store.

1) When you reach the store, continue down the sidewalk and count four trees.

2) When you reach the fourth tree, turn to your left and walk down the small corridor. This is called the Waterwheel Square.

3) Walk into the square and go to the water wheel and make a wish. Then spin the wheel and dance around.

4) Walk back out to the sidewalk and go left.

5) Jog down to the historic building number 163 and if the door is unlocked walk in and look at the information on the wall.
FACT: This was owned by the Hinkle’s’ who were very rich at the time of the Revolution.
6) Then walk back out and walk to the end of the Hinkle House. Turn left onto the grass and walk to the end of the red brick.

7) As you walk down the red brick, count how many windows there are. There should be 19.

8) Stop at the red door and walk in it and walk down the small corridor. Then turn left.

9) Count the small holes at the bottom of the building to your left. Count five of them and look in the fifth hole and remove the leaves.

10) Congratulations! You found the box!!!!!
