Directions to Trailhead:

From the Golden Gate Brige(101 North) Northbound take the Alexander Dr. Exit soon after crossing the bridge. Follow the signs to "Marin Headlands Tunnel Route" which will put you on Bunker Rd going West. Stay on
Bunker Road for a few miles traveling towards Rodeo Beach about a mile before you reach Mitchell Rd you will corss over a bridge and see Rodeo lagoon. There will be an old long white building on your right with parking in front and the lagoon on your left. Park in front of the building. To the right of the building is the Miwok trailhead.

Buttercup had a dream she was hiking with the Miwok Indians searching for her Little Brother. They could see the lagoon on their right, but they decided to stay on the path that led them to the hills. Eventually one of the Miwok, called Scout, noticed that they had passed the lagoon completely. Buttercup ran ahead and saw a bridge. Scout said, "That bridge has evil spirits living underneach it, so we must not cross it." Buttercup and the others continued on and they noticed a Bobcat and a horse together. They walked 10 paces northeast and Scout noticed she could hear a babbling brook. Scout said, "Many people fall asleep to the sound of a Babbling Brook. Let's look here." And this is where Buttercup found her Little Brother.
