Lucky dogs live in Round Rock! Now they have a park built just for them...the Doggy Depot. This dog park sports two areas (big dog and purse sized pup areas) with various challenge courses and a doggy water fountain. Definitely bring Fido to help sniff out this letterbox!
CLUES: Go east on 620 (E. Main Street) and travel through quaint downtown Round Rock (don't blink!). Just after the library take a right on S. Burnet Street and proceed over the railroad tracks. Take a right on Park Lane and drive to the left past the pool at Lake Creek Park. Park across from the basketball courts and walk towards the dog park, just to the left of the basketball court. Face the sign that says "Welcome to the Round Rock Dog Depot, est. 2008" Let Fido make some new friends before proceeding to fetch the box. Take the sidewalk that meanders behind the dog park, between the small dog area and the volleyball courts. Follow the sidewalk past the fenced dog park area until you reach a large baseball fence. At the open end of the large fence, turn so that your back is to the fence. You should see a multiple trunked cedar tree. Don't fear the tree it's bark is worse than its bite! The letterbox is under a pile of rocks at the base of the tree. Remember to take precautions when moving the rocks and cover well so others can enjoy! Woof!
