The loving tree is located along the Eastern Shore of beautiful Mobile Bay. It is near the intersection of I-10 and Hwy 98 in Daphne, AL. Head South on Hwy 98 from I-10, on the left there will be an Exxon Station. There is a gravel parking lot behind the Exxon to the North by D'Olive Creek, it is on N Main St. This is the parking area for Alligator Alley. Follow the wooden bridge under Hwy 98. At the end of the first wooden bridge, to your right there will be a natural wooden cradle with 5 wooden spidles, the loving tree, look inside the cradle. After you find your letterbox, if you continue on the trail you will probably see at least a couple of alligators, watch your fingers and toes!
