This is a store bought stamp
You will need to bring your own ink pad, writing utensil, and you may want to bring along the bug spray on those warm days!
Green Lake access is located about 2 or so miles down Elder Rd on the West side of 131. The access road is on the left. Take this road until you arrive at Green Lake which will be on your right (there is another lake back here towards the left that you will see on your way in). This box will be here all year round but the road is seasonal so you would have to find other means of getting to it. I planted it in April and the last part of the road was snow covered so I parked at the top of a hill and walked down to the lake.
One, two, three, four, five of these you will see (actually there are more...but 5 are in plain sight from the parking lot)
Which way do you go? Well that's up to me!
Walk by the 5th if you're going right, and hopefully your target will be in sight. Go along this path until you see a white leaning "tower". It appears after passed time to be losing it's power. Beside it you will see where a mighty tree used to be. Look here and look there. Look down & under but not in the air. Be careful you're near the waters edge. Green Lake is beautiful but very deep it is.
Please be sure to re hide the box well!
I encourage you to make letterboxes in the Mancelona and surrounding areas. There aren't too many around here & I would LOVE to find some myself! =)
