Carved and planted by Grumpy
Some of you may have this image as it attended a party for the broken Rubaduc.
Make your way to Machimoodus State Park. From the parking lot take the Lower Vista Trail and follow it until you see a sign post sending you to an open area, you will pass a pond on your left. Follow the trail through the open area until it sends you uphill into the woods. Go up, up, up until you reach the top. Great place to sit and enjoy the view. Follow the sign that sends you onto the wide dirt trail. Pass through a stonewall and at the next wall look to your right for a huge wolf tree that is part of the wall. Facing the tree look right or East about 6 feet along the wall for a thin flat rock, the box is behind this rock. Please do not tear this wall apart looking for the box. You only have to move one thin stone.
Have fun and enjoy this wonderful place.
